Getting a price quotation and ordering sails
Order your racing sails direct from Eurosails. We will quote within 24 hours for any type of sail. We advise on your choice of racing sails, measure your boat's rig and we deliver the sails to your boat within 4 weeks. Existing customers actively racing always have priority on the sail production schedule.
Service and deliveries throughout Europe.
We invite boat owners, spending serious money on a suit of racing sails, to come and see the 1500m2 production loft. Being one of Europe's top lofts and as the benefit of expertise is mostly effective in racing sails, the production line now only produces millennium sails and of the very highest quality. Nonetheless, for those existing customers in need of Mylar or Dacron delivery sails, we shall be happy to service them.
Carbon fibre Millennium sails have already made an impact in the Mediterranean in 2004 and 2005, appearing on many top professional racing yachts at major regatta's in Spain, Italy and France.
Also in Britain the interest is growing very fast and in Holland, Millennium Sails have attracted attention for their good looks and speed.
Standard specification is 'race ready' with all or any features typically known to be used on the racing boat. Mainsails are floating unless otherwise required.
Production, quality and maintenance of Millennium Sails

Millennium racing sails only use strong Carbon fibres for the main body whilst the Mylar laminate panels and/or the Tafetta cover laminates may be produced with kevlar fibres for added strenght.
Millennium sails have a guaranteed quality and a certain lifetime if used with proper care. When you patch up and hoist your sails as intended, do not abuse them in too severe air (8 knots margin), your sails will simply not fail you. They will not crack and unlike panelled sails, they will not blow up in your face because of the continuous fibre layout design.
The new production method now ensures a longer life of the leech design, particularly Genoa's, which in relative heavy airs always take much of the pressure, hence damage to a sail's design.

Main features of the Millennium Sails production process
Millennium Sails are produced with the Millenium label. Production is only in Italy. The technique behind it was developed by ICAD engineers from Italy's top Technical Design University in Florence together with the Millennium Sail's designers.
Lamination is done in the loft with a purpose built laminator-machine that heats and vacuums the laminate itself. Hence, lamination can now be done without using masses of glue, often causing early breakage of the laminate.
Note: The name 'Millenium' is the Italian flavour of 'Millennium', hence the use of both words in our text.
